A COPYING PROJECT |
The chair in the centre is the original mid-19th Century Gillows original - a dining chair from a set of 8 made in Cuban Mahogany. The commission was to add 2 Carvers to complement the set of 8, which meant David had to copy the design, but REDESIGN and re-size the Carvers to the larger standard size for Carver Dining chairs. The result is STUNNING! |

Time will Tell |

The owner of this important Tompion bracket clock wanted each of his sons to have a copy. I was commissioned to make the cases. |

Showing the very fine detail of the mouldings. |
